Plans change a bit.

We spent the night in Fredericksburg, Va., and will head from here to Cockeyesville shortly. The Ramada center here is nice, but the bed had a bit of a rock-hard feel to it.

We're also talking about keeping the trip "au natural" and skipping Cedar Point for points west. Maybe an extra day at another park, or the like. We'll see. One thing about us, spontaneity.

Ah, South Carolina.

Good morning

After a late start, our first stop is in Georgia near the South Carolina border. We did make it to the other side of Jacksonville in 2 1/2 hours; not bad. State Road 9's new extension really runs you around that mess well.

I'll update with photos through the day; next stop is Cockeysville, MD.
